FUNCTION

Ideal Tarp Size

This hybrid style tarp provides a large rectangle-shaped usable area while maintaining a smaller space design than a middle-sized hexigon tarp.

Beautiful and Practical Design

While maintaining an ideal wide effective area, the gentle curves of the ridgeline and the sharp lines leading to the 4 corners have been designed to create a beautiful silhouette.

Fabric Pattern

The fabric pattern follows the direction of tension so it can be easily set up by anyone, also making sure to minimize the unnatural tension to the fabric (bias direction) to maintain the beautiful design.

Protection from the Sun and the Rain

With a design that drops the four corners close to the ground, it’s easy to find protection from the sun or rain.

Light-shielding Coating

The back of the tent fly is coated in light-shielding polyurethane (usually transparent). By applying this coating, the gap between the seams are filled which reduces the transmission of sunlight, so you can relax and stay cool even in summer.

Tarp Tail Included

A tarp tail (long tape) is included that allows you to overlap the tent and tarp.

Lantern/Light Hanger

The tarp tail can also be used as a light/lantern hanger. Pass the tarp tail between the main poles and hang lanterns/lights to the three rings on the tape.

Light Weight and Small

Silicone polyester is light and compact which makes it easy to carry and load in a car.

FABRIC

This tent is made of Ripstop Polyester fabric. By applying silicone on the front surface and polyurethane (PU) on the back surface, a high level of tear-resistance and waterproof performance has been achieved. Compared to the commonly used fluorine treatment for ordinary tents, shelters, and tarps the silicone treatment has the added benefit of significantly increasing tear-resistance, making it possible to use thinner and more lightweight fabric.

Water pressure resistance is kept at 1,500 mm for both 50D and 75D, suppressing fabric deterioration due to heat during PU processing and maintaining tear-resistance.

Fluorine coating only applies to the surface of a fabric having no effect to the strength, however silicone treatment penetrates into the fabric significantly increasing the tear resistance.
