FUNCTION

Vertically Divided Rooms

The OKITOMA-2 has a new concept design for solo and duo camping, with the front room and inner tent arranged vertically to allow efficient livability.

Large and Fully Openable Panels

The doors and side panels fully open to create a wide open space integrated with nature, where you can enjoy your beautiful surroundings. The front room has plenty of space for setting up kitchen gear and furniture for 2 people.

Flipping-Up the Panel

By using the optional UPRIGHT POLE 150, the panel can be flipped up to make a roof over the entrance. We recommend adjusting the UPRIGHT POLE 150 to 120cm by removing 1 section of the pole.

Self Standing Framework

The OKITOMA-2 has a complete self standing framework, so it is ideal for situations where pegs are difficult to peg down and set up is only possible with rock weights.

Hang-type Inner Tent

The inner tent hangs independently from the ceiling, making it easy to set up and take down without getting wet in the rain. The bottom corners are hooked to the main body, so additional pegs are not required.

Use as a Shelter

The external frame design makes it easy to use as a shelter by removing the inner tent. Even when fully closed there is plenty of space for kitchen gear, cots, and furniture for 2 people.

Multipurpose Floor Panel

The front and rear of the OKITOMA-2 is designed to be symmetrical. This design allows the included footprint to also be installed in the front and used as a sitting "ground-style" room.

Large Inner Tent

The inner tent is large enough for 2 people’s luggage and sleeping space. A mesh door and side panels help keep it cool even during hot weather.

Compact and Light Weight

The OKITOMA-2 is a perfect all-in-one auto camping tent that is lightweight and compact.

FABRIC

This tent is made of Ripstop Polyester fabric. By applying silicone on the front surface and polyurethane (PU) on the back surface, a high level of tear-resistance and waterproof performance has been achieved. Compared to the commonly used fluorine treatment for ordinary tents, shelters, and tarps the silicone treatment has the added benefit of significantly increasing tear-resistance, making it possible to use thinner and more lightweight fabric.

Water pressure resistance is kept at 1,500 mm for both 50D and 75D, suppressing fabric deterioration due to heat during PU processing and maintaining tear-resistance.

Fluorine coating only applies to the surface of a fabric having no effect to the strength, however silicone treatment penetrates into the fabric significantly increasing the tear resistance.
